The Double A is a 400 acre ranch located in far southwestern Choctaw Co., OK, about nine miles south of Boswell, OK, and two miles north of the Red River.  The ranch was bought in 2002, and has undergone a significant change of operation in that time, from being so rough of land that it was only useful for timber to being a beautiful and productive ranch.  We have sub-irrigated and irrigated land that allows us to have lush green pastures during droughts, making our property a rather large food plot for all the deer of the area.  We grow grass hays, such as crabgrass, bermuda, and rye, as well as alfalfa, for our herd of Black Baldie/Charolais cross cattle.

For the remainder of the 2009 year, we will be offering limited three day archery hunts, with lodging. We are a bow-hunt only managed property, with all season food plots, and very limited pressure.  Our primary focus is Whitetail deer but we have an abundance of turkey, as well.  The close proximity to the Red River and the unlimited cover provided by heavily wooded areas makes for some big bucks and our irrigated pastures keep the does here year-round.  Our philosophy is, "When you've got the girls, you'll see the boys!"
